A day at the Fair!!

We just returned home from a fun filled day at the Fair with many cute stories to share! Evelyn was absolutely enthralled with watching the animals. Our first priority was to head to the Miracle of Birth baby animal barn so Evey could see the baby animals she's been learning about - baby chicks, piglets, lambs, a calf and duckling.


She was so captivated watching the turkey that she didn't even notice the baby duckling being held out for her to pet!!







While Ian was in line for Saltwater taffy, Evey and I found a nice shady bench to sit on and rest. Evelyn was entertained with climbing over mommy and in and out of her stroller. Then the larger than life orange stuffed CareBear next to us caught her attention! She was mesmerized by this big stuffed animal and wouldn't let go of it! Thank you to the man who "won" the carebear - thank you for entertaining us and letting us take pictures of Evey and your bear! When we stood up to leave, after we pried her hands off the bear and she swung back around one more time to get a last look, the man stood up and offered to give us the CareBear since Evey seemed so attached. Thank you for the offer, but we just couldn't accept! A picture and the story are worth so much more!
