We spent Sunday with Grandma visiting the Como Conservatory and enjoying the breathtaking displays of Orchids. The Saint Paul Annual Winter Carnival began on Friday and instead of watching the ice carving in Rice Park, we preferred the Orchid Show instead!
It was a pleasant retreat from cold, misty January rain. A taste of the tropics, the exotic and the vibrant hues of flowers.
Looking through a frozen portal... into another world.
