We have been reading the book "Polar Bear, Polar Bear"... what do you see... for the last few weeks and have been learning animals. Evey also has a soft book with animal faces that she has become facinated with.
Since Sunday was her Three month birthday and such a beautiful day out, we decided to make the first trip to the Como Zoo! It was so busy (everyone must have had the same idea). We stayed for an hour and looked at Monkeys and the African Hooved Animals - Zebra's and Giraffes! Evey was awake and transfixed on the Zebra and Giraffe. The color contrasts must have drawn her interest or the fact that they were out in the open (oh... and maybe the heavy animal scent drew her attention too). Evelyn, Evelyn what do you see...
A gorilla eating snow and a baby giraffe licking the wall! We also walked through the main room of the Conservatory. They had Stargazer Lilies at each of the entrances - so aromatic and colorful! Ian said she probably just liked them because they were pink like everything else of hers... I think it's because I love Stargazers!

What a sweet post - great pictures. Evey, I can tell you are gaining so much knowledge, you really are a brilliant little lady! Cannot wait to share time with you in May. <3
Would you look at those eyes, they're speaking knowledge!
